Message for the summer report (August 18, 2023)
Our project is at the limit. We are currently doing only survival aid. School fees, meal programs and general living expenses in Kenya have increased to such an extent that we are currently able to provide emergency aid and continue to pay for school for our BOJATI children. But nothing more. Even though there is so much worthwhile work to do. Read the report from Lenox! We would have so many ideas.
Unfortunately, our “helper community” hasn’t grown either. Although I’ve been asking you to talk about this project and possibly find new helpers for x years, nothing has improved. On the contrary, donors have died or turned away. There may be various reasons for this and everyone is free to do so. But what we do here changes lives. These people would have no chance of a future without our help. Imagine you are e.g. Paulo, who thanks to BOJATI gets a chance, can go to school and gets a warm meal at lunchtime. The reality of going to sleep in the evening without eating is only half as bad, isn’t it?
I therefore ask you to promote BOJATI! Every Franc is valuable! We move a lot with it! I’m counting on you! Maybe you set up a coffee register at work or ask the guests for a donation instead of gifts at the next birthday etc. You can also give me an e-mail address that I can put on this mailing list. You will then receive these trimester reports. And maybe a new, valuable BOJATI helper will emerge from this.
