Message for the summer report (August 30, 2024)
Instead of the usual reports, for the summer report 2024 we asked the four children who are currently primarily supported by us if they would introduce themselves in a short “I am” report. Our thoughtful and active project manager Lenox Nyonje wrote a comment for each report. I would like to thank Lenox. He does great things for our club! BOJATI provides further support, but these four children are currently the focus and are being supported with everything that makes it possible for them to attend school.
This includes:
– School fees
– Meal program
– Uniforms
– School supplies and books
– Personal effects
– Sportswear and shoes
– Hygiene items
– Requirements from the school (sack money, lockable box made to measure, etc.)
– and accommodation costs in the institutes (for specialist training)
We would like to do more but our resources are limited. It’s enough for the bare necessities. Prices have risen massively in Kenya and we will need more resources to maintain the status quo in the future. School fees increase every year. You support the project and that gives hope.
