Helping Children to help themselves!

Our logo contains our mission: Book = Education and Apple = Health. We want to give these young people the hope and the necessary help that they can achieve something in life on their own and find meaning in working for a better future for themselves and their loved ones.

< Vision >

There are children and young people who are trying to find their way in life without parents and without state help in Kenya and also in many other places on this globe – and more than we can imagine in the 1st world.

The BOJATI vision wants to give hope and help as many affected children as possible to help themselves within the framework of what is financially possible.

< Organisation >

How it all began… about 18 years ago… 2010 Founding of BOJATI on a private basis, as a family project… Since 2016, BOJATI has been an association and legally legalized.

< Children >

The name BOJATI is made up of the names of the first four children Bijuma, Omar, JAmila, TIno. They were the first four BOJATI children. To date, BOJATI has provided 8 more children with this help for self-help.

The first children of our project are now older. They are grateful that with our help they have been able to go to school all these years and participate in the lunch table and the school’s activities.

Letters

The children send letters regularly. Here you will find a few particularly beautiful specimens.

< Progress >

Three times a year, Lenox Nyonje Sichenyi, as a project manager on site in Mombasa, prepares a report, the Trimester-Report.

The Trimester-Report documents the lives of the children and the progress that is being made through our help. The report will be sent by email to all members and donors.
