By the year 2010 to 2016, BOJATI was managed and run on a private basis. Since 2016, BOJATI is a Club and legally legalized.
Our project is small. A certification can not afford to BOJATI. Unfortunately we can offer also no tax exemption for donations. Our help is however very effective and 100% of the welfare of the BOJATI children to good. The members of the Association and the project managers are volunteers.
The bank transfer withdrawal after Kenya every month from our Club account. Our project manager in Kenya reported the progress and challenges in trimester reports which we forward the donors by E-Mail. Each donor can participate to the life of these children. Enough to be included in this mailing a short mail to: < info@bojati.org > or < info@bojati.ch >.
The use of the donations mainly serves to pay the fees and the food programs in the schools, school uniforms and school material. Also accommodation costs incurred for the older since the good schools as boarding schools are. In addition, we support projects that contribute to the improvement of health and living conditions of the BOJATI children. This is prettier in close consultation between Martin (President BOJATI) and Antony Shahenza (Project Manager BOJATI).
Antony Shahenza succumbed to his failing health on April 13, 2021 at the age of 37 and left us forever. Antony was very committed to the BOJATI children and was a thoughtful and understanding project manager. We thank him from the bottom of our hearts and wish Antony blessed peace on his last journey. God bless him! RIP!
With Lenox Nyonje Sichenyi, we have found a new project manager who will take over Antony’s successor and legacy with the same passion. As a nephew, he lived with Antony and graduated from Laikipia University in Nyahururu, Kenya with a degree in Library and Information. He has witnessed the changes in the children’s lives and was himself part of the BOJATI project. The last Trimester-Reports show that we could not have found a better successor.
