Dear BOJATI helpers!
Message for the Easter report (Aeptember 30. 2026)
I am sharing Lenox’s summer report with you a little late. The reason for the delay is Windows 11, which can no longer be installed on older computers—a problem that affected me as well. However, with the help of experts on YouTube and some elaborate workarounds, I managed to bypass the issue without having to buy a new laptop.
School costs in Kenya have skyrocketed—so much so that a great many families can no longer afford to send their children to school. Food, energy, and healthcare costs have also become unaffordable for many. In Switzerland, the right to education and emergency medical care is enshrined in the constitution; this is not the case in Kenya. Consequently, without money, there are no services. Many people fall through the cracks and are left to fend for themselves. Overall, Kenya is roughly at the same stage of development as Switzerland was around 1815, a time marked by massive waves of emigration as Swiss citizens sought to escape poverty.
BOJATI’s logo—featuring a book and an apple—symbolizes education and health! Thanks to your loyal support and generosity, we will navigate this boat through stormy waters and secure a future for at least a handful of people. Lenox is our experienced captain on the ground, and I am delighted to present his „logbook entry“ to you today. Thank you so much for your invaluable support!
Best regards,
Martin Hübscher
President BOJATI
